New Family Member
This is our new family member, Lakota. She is part Jack Russell Terrier, part Schnauzer and part who-knows-what! Mom says I'm suppose to get along with her, but she is annoying . . . especially in the mornings. She wakes up very early and plays with her squeek toys. They are loud!

I've been fairly 'put-out' with mom for bringing her home and have been sending mom many glares and disgusted looks. Mom is taking it all in stride and has been spending a lot of extra time reassuring me that I am still the number one dog about the place, but I'm still having a difficult time.
We really shouldn't play with mom's shoes, you know.
Still, I am beginning to think that maybe having the little squirt around could be fun . . . it is kinda nice to have someone to play with when mom is busy.
When I've had enough, and mom is working on her computer, she lets me get up on the desk with her so I can have a break!
Lakota is warm to snuggle with when it's cold . . .
. . . and she is kinda cute. I suppose I'm starting to like her . . . but don't tell mom I said so. I want to continue to glare at her some more for awhile so I keep getting extra attention!
