Oregon Caves National Monument

Mom and I went to Oregon Caves one day.  The drive up was very crooked and slow for the last 8 miles, but it was a beautiful area when we arrived.

There isn't much to say about the scenery inside the cave except that it's fascinating.

The entrance is narrow and a mesh bridge has been built so people don't have to wade through the water that flows out of the cave at this point.

Some of the early cave explorers signed their names and/or wrote notes of their visit on cave formations.  As the years have gone by, a coating has formed over these writings, preserving them.
