Gothenburg Pony Express Station
We stopped in Gothenberg to see this Pony Express station. It has been moved from its origional site to the city park. Before it was a Pony Express Station, it was used as a fur trading post. It has a small museum and gift store inside.
Mom wanted me to pose for a picture, but I didn't want to and she couldn't make me! (You can click on the small pictures below to see what the emblems in the rock say.)
The museum has a few interesting artifacts, like this Pony Express saddle and these arrowheads!
In the gift store you can even buy a post card and then put it in a real Pony Express mail pouch for mailing!
