Bear Lake Utah
Bear lake crosses the borders of both Idaho and Utah, joining the two states by water. The lake is 20 miles long, 8 miles wide, and has a beautiful turquoise blue color to the water. The lakes unique color comes from the limestone and calcium in the surrounding rocks. It's color changes with the weather . . . on sunny days, it's blue; on overcast days it's green, and on stormy days it appears aquamarine.
