Thousand Springs Scenic Byway

Thousand Springs Scenic Byway is a 68 mile journey through the Hagerman Valley. There are many historic things to see although we concentrated mostly on the springs. Note that Shoshone Falls is a part of this scenic byway.

These springs flowing from the canyon walls come from the far northeast. The waters are channeled through conduits in the ancient lava flow covering the Snake River Plain.
